About ZavTech

I'm based in Norwich, UK. By day I work in networking. In the evenings and weekends I mod retro hardware, build software tools, and sell what comes out of it.

ZavTech started because I kept setting up PSPs and handhelds for mates, and it made more sense to do it properly and sell them than to keep doing it ad hoc for free. Same with the software — I built DocGen Pro because I needed it myself, polished it up, and figured someone else probably needs it too.

This is not a business with a warehouse and a ticket system. It's one person, a bench, and a soldering iron. Every piece of hardware I sell has been through my hands. Every bit of software I sell I wrote myself and use myself.

What I sell

Mainly two things: modded/pre-configured retro gaming hardware, and self-built Windows desktop software. The hardware side focuses on PSPs, retro handhelds (Anbernic, Miyoo etc.), and custom retro PC builds to commission. The software side is smaller — currently just DocGen Pro, with more tools in development.

How I work

Direct contact only. No chat widget, no support ticket, no AI chatbot. Email me at hello@zavtech.net and you'll get a reply from me personally. If something arrives broken or not as described, I'll sort it — no argument.

For hardware, local collection is available in Norwich if you'd rather not wait for shipping. For software, it's a direct download link after payment.

What I won't do

I won't sell something I haven't tested. I won't oversell what a piece of hardware can do. I won't pretend something is in better condition than it is. If I don't know the answer to something, I'll tell you.
